Setlist:
6 poems from FASHIONWHORE
7 poems/rooms from Kept Women
7 poems from Angie vs. Jen
Several sections from "Marilyn: Leftovers" (the only piece I read from The Ravenous Audience). This piece was dedicated to my life long friend, my Marilyn, Kiara Kremensky. The sections I read were "The Clothes," "The Prescriptions," and "The Legal Documents."

excellent!
A silver candle alights. Tears of blood and salt, flares and flickers of words, aflame. Beauty cries in the quiet night.
Amazing costume! I used to love that film when I was young and even though I might agree with some of the critcisms of it that are out there I still think this film and Disney in general are very interesting.
Thanks, all! This is by far the best dress on the planet, one I've dreamed and drooled over since I was a wee girl watching Cinderella on the little tv screen. So dreamy. So sad.
Andrea, I totally agree re. Disney--the films and Disneyland are both really important to some of the work I'm doing now, and both really shaped me in formative ways as a child. Ways that have lingered into adulthood and formed my work.
Hi again Kate, are you able to post a "set-list" -- I seem to remember you were moving away, or maybe had decided not to read at all any more, from The Ravenous Audience, though maybe I misremember or am just plain wrong about that. Anyway, curious what you read in S. Diego, if you care to and have the time to share.
Steven--
Most certainly happy to share! Posted it just now on the entry. I can't go into specific details regarding the titles of the pieces (those that have titles) until they are in their final book form--I am a little secretive about that. But I hope this gives you enough of a taste!
Also, in happy news, Insert Press just found a new printer so sometime after January Kept Women should make its way into the world.
Cool to see the setlist, Kate. And Angie vs Jen _ I'm very intrigued : )
I think you will love Angie vs. Jen, Andrea!
Thanks Kate. And great to hear what's a-happenin' with Insert Press and that your publication there will be out soon enough.
